That was dark. Not dark as in depressing, dark as in "What the heck is that supposed to be?" There are a few scenes where I really can't tell what's being shown.
I'm noticing a theme here, and that theme seems to be "I'm a lot better as a draftsman than an artist." Anything which is mainly straight lines and smooth arcs, you've got it nailed. Other stuff, like the smoke from the missile launch, isn't as good. That said, you've done a really good job of selecting scenes that don't REQUIRE you to draw/animate messy stuff.
The one place this is a little weak is on plot. It's not real clear exactly why all this is happening. But that's not really an entirely negative thing, because it makes it more universal... and in fact, this could even be a setup for Deliverance.
I was really afraid I was going to hear the OTHER Bright Eyes when I clicked on Play, so I was extremely relieved when it wasn't.
