"good job!"

All in all it was really good, most of my animations are usually very dark colors so i enjoyed that very much! keep up that fantastic work!

"Its not original.."

"Love The Bomb" reminded me a lot of this...except what he did was more original. I've seen a multitude of flash movies dedicated to the world ending by nuclear explosion. You didn't take it anywhere, however. Yes, we all seen imagery of a nuclear bomb detonating in Washington DC or New York City, and its just not shocking to me anymore.
Also, the last scene was particularly cheesy to me. Maybe it was because I didn't realize an American flag could survive a nuclear explosion...considering everything around it is destroyed. Sure, it may be symbolic...but that too is overdone. Look at the endings of the Spiderman movies for example.

"Touching"

date: November 6, 2005

Overall, I liked it. The choice of song and the way the animation was synced with it especially for the "Bright Eyes" parts was very good. There are two things I would have done differently, but even still I think it's worth a good, solid "9". The first thing is that in the dim scenes, I would have made it a little easier to see. I understand why they were dim, as in real life that's how it would be, but for the purpose of a short animation meant for viewer use, I think the inability to distinguish details of the scenes of destruction was a bit distracting. The other thing is the flag in the final devastation scene - the buildings around it are obliterated, but it's blowing in the breeze undamaged. It was a symbologically useful element for the intent of the short, but I would have made it singed and tattered. Still, like I said, I really enjoyed the film overall. Thanks for making it!

"One of the most touching flashes I've seen"

We really do have to stop before we're fighting with sticks and stones. I like the music, especially. Really makes you think, even if the effects of the bombs was inaccurate.

"Sorry."

date: October 18, 2005

Sorry, but I must give a low rating on this, due to inacuracy in the explosions of the warheads.

"Whoa...."

date: October 15, 2005

I wasn't expecting much when I watched this, but oh... wow...I was so wrong. From the moment the song started playing, I could feel the intesity building up. And was those nuclear things went off...man.... Yeah, it really does make you think.

"Very nice, but several problems."

date: October 13, 2005

Mostly vastly underestimating nuclear power. If a nuke went off over the Washington Monument, there wouldn't be a White House or a Capitol Building. Same with New York. The Statue of Liberty would crumple like a soda can in a trash compactor.

That said, it was still a very well-made movie. The silence (aside from the song), IMO, really added to the creepyness of the video. I felt the 3 or 4 scenes from "Independence Day" were also used well.

Makes you think, doesn't it? That we live in a time where a suitcase can blow up New york?

That was really good, expect for the sound qualty could use some touching up.
