"Knowledge is Power"
date: December 2, 2005
People who say by giving this incident attention, we glorify it. Which is downright stupid. Only by remembering the past can we progress into the future. By blocking this out of your memory, you forget all those who were victims that day. If we simply forget every bad thing that happened in the past, then we are doomed to repeat them.
I'm sure if you were a victim of a terrible event you wouldn't want to be forgotten, but maybe your death could enlighten others to prevent something from happening to others.
Giving this "attention" is not glorifying anything, it's a tool for knowledge, and, when put to good use, a way of prevention.
To the artist : Great Flash, Great Message.
