"Shame on you."

Not only is your depiction inaccurate, but it brings with it no message that what happened was wrong. You are about six years too late for your tribute to violence. I understand that you tried to make a beautiful art piece, but your subject material completely ruined your attempt. You just pulled a tragic event out of your sleeve, instead of coming up with something on your own. Shame on all of you.

the artwork was pretty good and you told the story well, but i dont see why you would make a movie like this. you seem to make those boys out to be the heros. i dont get it. im giving this movie a 1.

"I am very disappointed."

Everything was put together perfectly, the animation was unbelivable (amazing with the man driving the car) the music blended harmonicly with the visuals, beautiful at first, then hauntingly harmonic, gradually portraing darker thoughts and visuals.

Then they started talking, and it sounded as if it was a joke, like you were having too much fun making it, the speech was static and emotionless and the whole thing just declined in quality to an anti-climatic, moraless mess of a movie, no wonder it got second. If I were selling shirts, I'd tell you to buy a shirt.

But I fived it because it is a fantastic movie.

"Ok what the fuck????"

Dude, first off they used Tec-9's not long barreled rifles and shotguns, second off, they didn't kill that many people, and third you didn't even cover the explosives in the cafeteria part. This movie sucked, please don't watch this, please read my review before you decide to watch this dumb shit, its BAD, it's not even close to what happened, you said it wa a detailed recreation, hell no its not. It's what you think happened, or what you wanted to happen, this isn't how it went down, plus he didn't just get punched in the face and decide to kill a bunch of people, it was weeks, months, maybe YEARS of torment. If you want to make a good movie about a real event, know everything about it before you do, because this was some dumb shit, it was more of a tribute.

"Good but not original"

First of all. This is way too similiar to the film Elephant.
You totally ripped off the scene where they tell the friend outside to go away, aswell as the teacher scene where he says "bitch". You also took the soundtrack too, with the piano tracks. You did however choose good music (<3 Godspeed you black emperor). All that negativity aside, the graphics although far from perfect were fairly detailed and most of the animation was well done. I like how you kept the original Columbine quote of "do you believe in God?" but you should have shown them commiting suicide at the end for people who were too lazy to read the letter and dont know the actual Columbine story. The music was good, the voice acting was a little... cheesy. It would of been cooler, if you kept the whole thing silent until the end when they ask if they believe in God, you'd have to lose the bit where they let their friends get away, but that never happened in Columbine.
Anyway, good work, the effort put into this is clearly visible, just try not to take too many ideas from existing media.

why dig up the past? if, in portraying the circumstances leading up to the tragedy, you hope to illuminate and "educate" the public of the ills and tribulations of the socially arkward, you are misrepresenting the fundamentals of right and wrong. COME ON. People get picked on all the time! People deal with it, they don't gun down other people! It is WRONG, no matter the circumstances!! Romanticising the tragedy is only gonna send the wrong message, PLEASE think about what you have just done.

Learn more about columbine before you make an animation to it. The shootings at columbine were in the name of god in the eyes of the shooters.

"Incorrect"

Sorry, but they didn't like Manson. Police reports found that they hated him, (files on the computer) and they didn't own any of his CDs. The media said that to get good ratings. Hence the song The Nobodies "You shoulde've seen the ratings that day" and "We are the nobodies- Wanna be somebodies- We're dead- But know just who we are" Manson was all depressed about the whole thing later.

They did it because everyone at school would make fun of them and was fed up with it. Goes to show you that what goes around, comes around. I say that some of those that died may have deserved for making their lives so miserable. While you may be some psycho religious asshole, riddle me this. If there is a God, why is he letting all the shit in the world happen?

"Disappointing but decent"

This was a pretty good flash, I really enjoyed your artwork, you really made the characters look like real people, I think you definately have talent as an animator and artist. This music also in my opinion fit perfectly. What disappointed me is that you said that you made this flash a detailed profile and story about these two kids and what happened that day. This was at best a very small glimpse into their lives before it happened, and even at that a very blurry one. All you really learn about these kids from your flash is that they liked NBK, played video games, and allegedly had a marilyn manson backpack (oh yeah and one of them got punched in the face one time). Nothing is learned or explained about their real feelings or about the lives of these kids, nothing is learned about their motives other than violent video games and movies, in fact you do not much their facination with nazism or the fact that they made their plans right in the school everyday, speaking to each other in German in the hallways.

This is too short, and therefore very confusing, and quite frankly not that moving, I think more thought could have gone into the actual story...but otherwise good job.
