I am a big fan of these games but...cannot move is a really ad idea.
Also there are too few weapons and the xxxx'in wind keep changed make too difficult to aim....
But still, keep working..!

This was a pretty decent game in of itself. Very very simple, but it plays well and looks pretty nice.

HOWEVER... it so pales in comparison to the original that having the audacity to actually call it "Scorched Earth Flash" is just wrong. None of the weapons, cool fractal explosions, no rubber walls or shields, no AI, and hell you can't even MOVE cept with that lame random teleport item.

Many of us have fond memories of the orignal SE... it was a giant of a game in it's day. If you are going do a flash "remake", it's gonna take a hell of a lot more effort!

In any case, tho, it's a great start so far!

this game kinda sukked, r u supposed to be able to move? i pressed like every button and couldnt move from the spot where i started from because another tank was right next to me. overall this game sux

The game was pretty good...it could have used a little more. Being a player of this game back in the day, I had to say I was a little dissapointed in the fact that you couldnt move without jumping. Also, I was bothered by the fact that there werent any of the old school weapons...such as the nuke, or the one where it shot 6 shots at a time and made huge explosions.

The concept was good, just work on the game play a little. The terrain just floating there was very characteristic of the old game though. I enjoyed that.

The Original SCHORCHED TANKS game for the Amiega(an old computer) was the best game EVER!! Sooner they made a remake of the game called Schorched earth (has the same weapons and shields and stuff just diff name really)And someone made a flash version of it!!!! Ty very much i enjoyed it! In fact i still play Schorched tanks (original) using an emulator. Since the game scorched tanks is abandoned its legiall! All the old amega games are classics that should never die!! INfact thats where lemmings and bomberman first started out! (dynablaster=Bomber man)

The Problem is, it's a ripoff of that mini-tanks game. Here's some suggestions.

Yes, NPCs.
You should be able to move a little every turn or something without jumping.
Maybe a gun that shoots throguh the ground?
How about a gun that doesn't explode, but shoots a sniper bullet?
You should NOT let stuff that was on top of destryed terrain just float there. That's unrealisic to the exteme.

But I like it!
