"Bleh... lame"
date: July 15, 2005
Don't get me wrong, I am a small fan of NNFB (eventhough the url is soooo long and rather annoying to type), and well, as much as I like current comic pages, the beginning pages of NNFB was always rather lame in humour. Now watching the flash video, the lame forced humour of the first pages really show with the somewhat par voice acting. Essentially, I'll read the comics over this anyday.
But keep going anyway, maybe when this series catches up to the better jokes in NNFB, it might be interesting to watch.
Though the voice acting might keep me away for awhile.
Author's Response:
It is true that the begining of NNFB is a bit of a dry read, particulalry when it lacked a larger chasracted base to play with (Cho and Ken for example) But it was also our first attempt at writing an online comic, so it was destined to get better. Just as the first pages of NNFB were a work in progress, this flash is my first attempt in this medium. It is also my first attempt at animation (of any sort,) voice acting, and music editing (although the music itself was purchased.) I would love for it to be the best flash ever... but the reality is this is going to take time. I hope to improve and provide a more entertaining flash in the future... look at it this way, when I get to the cool stuff, my abilities may have by then improved to the level that those scenes deserve.
Thank you, come again!
