This game is awesome, in all senses... Though there are some pretty nice modifications being made to it...

"cheats"

by: seunpe
date: September 5, 2008

ok, to enter cheats: 1: during gameplay, press F8 to open the dialogue box 2: type any of these cheats (dont type the : ), and then press the red button CHEAT | WHAT CHEAT DOES | imgood: prestige in the planet you are at 100% imbad: prestige in the planet you are at -100% urmine: makes the planet you are at part of your empire maxlat: makes you have 999,999 latinum (MAKES it that amount, DOES NOT add that) inclat: gives you 1000 latinum maxdur: makes you have 999,999 deuranium (DOES NOT add that, MAKES it that number) allknowing: experience in navigation, tactician, away team, and engineering 1000 ilovetocheat: a cheat that combines allknowing, maxlat and maxdur everyonelovesme: prestige at ALL planets 110% youhateme: prestige at ALL planets -100% getinthebooth: earth controls ALL planets byebyeklingons: all klingons dissapear, and their planets become part of government "none" *NOTE: to capture a planet, transport your away team to the planet you want, but FIRST you have to bring its strength to zero (by destroying all of the ships at that planet) AND you have to fly around until the planet is uninhabited, and then bring your away team there. *NOTE: for the cheats to work, you have to type the cheat, press the button, and then open up the player control panel (on the bottom of the screen) and then the cheat should activate. in order to take over a planet with a cheat, use the "imgood" cheat to bring your prestige to 100% at that planet, and then do the "urmine" cheat to make that planet part of your empire, and then after that, warp to another planet, and then warp back. Ok, first u create new game. Hit tab a few times (it should hilight buttons) keep hitting tab until it shows theese little sqaure invisible buttons. qquickly (hilight doesnt last long) hold shift and try to click the one on the left (lower left i think) and when u click it the description of civilazAtion should be like this: .......... Resistance is futile. u have max resourcxes and a giant cube with unlimited recahrge rates. everyone hats u (even planet vex! ) have fun! in kardon press right control untiul it is a wormhole thing (right control selcts stuff in the system) anyway, hail the wormhole generator. u should be brought somewhere else. the planet is called pirates haven. there is a wormhole generator there, too. just DONT let it blow up. its yur only ticket out. if it gets blown up, tooo bad, cause yur stuck there. have fun! look at the guide for more explanation, but here's the basics: hail a planet. look under the small picture and it will say something like: 5bil population 800 strength so what you have to do is reduce the strength to 0. if you do, the population will leave and the planet will become uninhabited. on the interstellar map, uninhabited planets have a yellow ring inside their circle and the center is black. once a planet is uninhabited, you can set up your own empire there by transporting a pod onto the surface by moving your ship over the planet and then pressing "t", if you have at least 100 away team experience. but note: to reduce the planet's strength to 0 you must first destroy all the planets' buildings, then ships. after you destroy all the buildings a message will tell you that a large fleet is entering the system, and be warned, THEY ARE PISSED. it will take you a while to kill enough ships (if you dont get killed) to reduce the strength to 0, so maybe you'll want to go to Hof Maso and buy a Neg'Var. you'll need some $, and you can just use the "maxlat" cheat, but i am highly against it. oh, and after the strength is at 0 you will need to warp around a bit until the pop is at 0, then colonize the planet. finally, to get 100 away team experience, go to Vulcan, hail a university with the "away team training" option, and keep buying that. thats all for now, (Author's website) http://www.vexxiang.com/

I was truly entertained and played this game till the sun came up. even tho it saves your game there seems to be a bug that does not allow you to access your progress after you have quit. this is a shame....all in all it would be a great game for the developer to expound upon.....

I've been playing this game since it came out on newgrounds and I'm still not bored, I wish I could give it a score higher than 10, or 5, but... You know... Yeah.

I LOVE THIS GAME! i hope he or she decides to make a update or a new version but there are some problems when i attack a nutral planet who sucks which has only like 500 strength i cant seem to make war with them : / and my ships dont seem to want to attack enemies when i givem the attack all enemies or w/e command and i think there should be more to allies then just being able to buy stuff from them xD but this game is awsome i love the idea and anyone who sees my post please play it i bet you'll like it :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

This is just an awesome game. It is a great strategy, with some violence, and a helluva lot story in it. WITH a lot of your own humor. Pure genius
