"This Is Powerful"

I'm a poet and I write and I liked the piece. It was tight. I like how you did the silhouette for the Black people and the murderous cops. I feel you on that. Me being a Black man myself can relate this flash quite a bit. I did have a few issues with the quality of the sound of the poetry piece. That is why I gave your sound a low score. I understand if you don't have a nice mike yet. I got a much worse one here. I feel you on that but notice on the overall I still gave you a high score because you were amazing in my eyes despite the sound issues. You may notice I gave you a high score off of Interactivity. I gave that because you interacted with my heart, mind, and soul. I dug into my past and could relate to the poetry and imagery. I found connections through remembering my people all their war stories in life and it is almost as if you translated them into this piece of work you have molded her. It's nice to see something so familiar but yet so original. Newgrounds is for the most part a seemingly comedy-filled or gross-out site with just meaningless vulgarity but this is of true artistery about a topic never covered on Newgrounds it seems. I respect you for this. You dug into Black issues and voiced them on a site full of White people. That's mighty brave of you. Keep it up.

I just saw this, as I am reviewing the March submissions for my vote, and I just had to commend you for making such a great flash.

The animation and art were awesome, I particularly enjoyed the color scheme which added so much to the mood of the piece. The music was very well chosen and perfectly captured the somber tone as well.

The voice work was a little harsh, I will admit, but wasn't intollerable or anything, I didn't think it detracted too much from the overall appeal.

Well done, and I have to applaud you for dealing with a delicate and sadly persistant issue in such a thoughtful and sensitive way.

I hope to see more great submissions in the future from you.

"Love it Hate it"

The graphics were great. The style, the animation, it was all nice. But the voice acting was both annoying and bad quality. The accent was irritating, it made me focus on it more than what was being said. And when it got louder, it got more shrill. Up the quality of the voice. Otherwise it was really spectacular.

sure the whole Refuge thin is brety ****ed up
But If we(by we i mean we as the human race)
all wernt so selfish ther would be no need for refuges cos those with more would give to thos with less
