this really was a very well put together flash, it had a great storyline and some great characters (the lazy eyed bartender was a plus) overall 8/10

Great animation, nice little love story, and a genuine film even if the medium has changed a little. Gave it a 10 for violence, simply because she was smacked around and died. Gave me the warmth of dumb love and the cringe of a broken heart.

Outstanding. cant wait formore. One thing kept it from being a 10 for me. Some of the music cut off too abruptly. Maybe throw in some soft fades for a nicer transition?

Not only is that one of the best flash movies I've ever seen, it is one of teh best short films I have ever seen. That has definite cinematic flare that most filmmakers cannot capture.

I always figured a good director controls the audience's emotions. When you wanted me to feel happy and hopeful, I was. When you wanted me to feel sad and doubtful, I was. I commend you for this success.

i've gotta say, you're one of my favorite artists on newgrounds. i have watched all your animations many times and i love em! another terrific animation. btw, when will you make another tweeter and the monkeyman? i love that toon, man! that videogame series could do with a sequel as well. keep up the good work man,.

"I was rather impressed by this piece, but it was lacking, very anticlimactic... I mean, the guy at the bar just starts beating up on him and then gets knocked out, I understood the point, but it was really meaningless. The plot was predictable as soon as she started crying the second time you know exactly who's crying. The death at the end was a bit emotional, but still, it doesn't give a resolution. Even though it was meant to have a sad ending, it left me with a feeling of pointlessness, like the story didn't mean anything, and he didn't gain anything from it. The whole point of him being a composer was lost on me as well... It didn't add or detract anything from the story, only added to time... All in all, it was a well made piece, but I don't think it will get you anywhere, it's just... empty..."
