This piece really stands out here on Newgrounds.

I came to the site not expecting much; as I was half asleep and simply bored. Much to my chagrin, I come acorss a wonderfully made animation that is not only well done, but touching at the same time.

The plot was ingenious, the characters were silent yet established, and the entire storyline behind the piece could not have been done better.

It's people like you my friend, that make me still have a bit of hope for Hollywood; and for all those budding writers, animators, directors and such. I hope this takes you places; places you deserve to go.

As you can tell, yes; this is a positive review. I loved it more than anything I think I've ever seen here. I will recommend this to anyone who would be interested, or someone in need of a breath of fresh air.

We all get tired of stick figure kung fu, numa, and halo movies.

"Different... but in a good way."

It was amazing to see such a different and well constructed piece of this nature on Newgrounds. It was one of the only flash animations here that effectively induced viewer emotion.

Graphically, the piece was very nicely done. Good aesthetics, the black and white look being a particularly nice touch. However, the cartoonish style of the characters was deffinately a downfall, given the nature of the film. These could be improved, but it's certainly not necessary.

I loved the music used in this animation. Very aesthetically pleasing and they all seemed to just fit perfectly into each scene. Unfortunately, the sounds weren't of the best quality and were too quickly cut off. Use of the fade out technique and a slightly higher audio exporting quality would have made all the difference.

The animation as a whole is in a league of its own. I've yet to come across another quite like it, and the violence (for once), was so appropriately and tastefully used. I'm hoping that this makes its mark in the Top 50 for a long time. An excellent piece, that could only be improved by minor adjustments to the character design and music usage.

"Extraordinary!!!"

I have never seen a flash like this before. It had an older black and white short movie feel to it and was just absolutly impressive. The flash was very high qaulity, loved the music and style; the story was well developed and really captured life at what can be its toughest.

A lot of artists, like him, use past pains to produce new works. It was really cool to see someone capture that esence of an artist's life; some of the best have some of the worst pasts. He used past pains to sadden himself while creating his works. Just when he though he was going to be able to climb out of that pit of depression, he was thrown right back into again.

Again, great sotry, great flash.

I really like this submission, as it is different to what you usually see here.
It goes to show you dont always have to have extreme villence, be extremly funny, or have porn in to make a good flash.

I liked this, it had an almost noir-ish feel to it. Great choices in muzik, but I had to gig you on the audio editing; you might try cross fading if you can, I think it would help quite a bit. Other than that, not bad at all.

Im sorry this is how i feel, but i found this boring a good bit into it, call me someone with a low attention span or whatever but its just the truth. I would also like to say that it was extremely good artwork and the concept was very original and stylish, but Maybe not my sort of movie.
