See, these videos always manage to look cool as tits and stuff, but I've always seen them as just a random assortment of bits and pieces thrown together to music. Fair enough, they're all well animated as well, and the music is kickass as well, but I just have never really seen the point to these kind of entries.
You could really see each individual artist's visual style seperate itself from the rest. You didn't vene need the text in the corner to say who had animated whatever bit of the song as it was easy to say, "oh, that's Sqeezy, and then Nanoko". At times, some of Nanoko's work remnded me very much of the Gorillaz, namely their lead singer 2-D. Kickass work.
