Absolutely amazing, how one can accomplish so much in terms of emotions with so little. The animation was simple (referring to style, not quality, and it's certainly not negative), the story was clear, meaningful, and thorougly thought trough. The music complements the story perfectly, and though it's a matter of taste, I loved the song.

That's the positive part, now for the negative:

And that's it. Really, I don't have any negative comments or whatsoever.
This is a wonderful and emotional video clip that deserves a permanent place on the frontpage, but for now, it'll certainly keep it's place at the top of my personal favorites.

Ahh that was sweat flash. Why didnt the Sally wait? That guy just wanted to go play in his fantasy world... Anyway this flash was really cool, musics and graphics were good and the story was fine. Nice flash

Very touching, really... I watched a movie much like this before, only the main character was a girl, didn't knock herself out, and the last scene wasn't them in bed. lol.

I think the thing about him not letting go of his childhood was very depressing, and especailly on that extreme of a level.
They evened it out with some humor near the end, but the fact that she knocked herself out kinda made sence, it's like it's saying she's going on his level to get to him. (or maybe I'm giving to much credit for meaning, lol.)

Even though I'm 11 (wait am I supposed to be over 13 to be on newgrounds? I made this account when I was like 9...)
I can kinda conect to this.

That is the greatest animated shjort of all time.
It was touching, beautifully animated and funny.
Get this transfered to disc and send it to the Academy right away!

Kudos! That music was Outstanding! It was all there
Brilliant sound, it was a shame the rest of the animation couldn't quite live up to the amazing standard of the music, but overall, it doesn't matter, because the two versions of DLBIA were truly outstanding! Well done!
