"what the hell was that?"

stories about love and feelings on valentines day that are about 2-3 minutes long are not a good idea. im not sure if it's possible to make them NOT come out corny as hell. none of these were remotely good apart from animation. although i admit i did laugh a little uncontrollably when voltrix's animation ended. that was the (unintentionally) funniest piece of garbage i've ever seen.

also this whole series is a little weak. all of them are just grayscale with a color. there's no real art or challenge behind it. i think having somethign like "5 shades of blue and 1 of orange" would be really cool. it would allow artists to use that 1 contrasting color as an artistic tool. gradients of a single color don't really allow it, they.. just make the flash look like it was done with 1 color.

"Hit or miss"

A few were good, and many were also overly cheesy and/or completely corny. I thought Greedom's was the best quality wise. But really, I wish you guys could've had something in the way of humor in this flash. A few may have been mildly amusing but none were hilarious. I think that could really add something to it.

I also found several errors:
"Jublin's" flash isn't a choice on the main menu, although I did find it by right clicking and pressing forward. You should include it in the main menu, it's kinda funny. It has the little guy walk up and sing "lifetime!" then leave.
Also, Dralnur's flash doesn't stop at the end.

..i didnt like a single one of those. i had higher expectations; i liked 5 shades of green. i dunno, im not a certified flash critic by any means, but i have to say that was dissapointing. its up to you how to take my criticism, considering ive never made a flash, but to my untrained eye, i didnt appreciate any of those flashes, none of them were any good. maybe i missed something, everyone else seemed to like it. so, sorry.. i guess.... please do better next time

Now it's my duty as a single 19 year old to say, "OMG this made me wanna vomit! Screw love and screw Valentines Day." But, in truth, I don't give a crap about that, but who am I to break tradition. I do, however, have a rough time with cutsie stuff but that's no means to vote poorly on this now is it?

I say it was good overall because only a couple were stupid and sucked. Just for love's sake, though, let's not mention names, considering it's obvious. All the others used the colors well and implemented a love related theme smoothly. I did have a good time watching through the various shorts so I really have nothing bad to say.

Great job to those who worked on this and happy Valentines Day! 7/10.

Good work all of you. Some of you improved from the last "The 5 Shades of Green". Hopefully "The 5 Shades of Blue" will do just as well, I gotta get into this collab.

Congratulations on the fantastic collaboration. You all worked very hard, and it shows. They all were quality animations. Some needed a bit more work in their artwork, however, they still all were great. My favorite of the bunch would have to be Yesterday, since I'm a Beatles fan.

You all did an excellent job, and I wish you all the best with your cartoons.

waaaaaay better than the 5 shades of green, the difference between the two is amazing. Greedom's was probably my favourite. The limit of only 5 shades gave it a brilliant effect. Well done to everyone involved.
