"Needs more depth"

I understand that you were unable to actually speak to someone who has been on a vision quest, so I am not going to get all crazy on you about what they are really like. I would suggest for your next project, though, that you try to do some online research before tackling something this huge. It'll make all the difference to your audience if it is more truthful.
The artwork was a little cartoony, but I know they never give you enough time for these assignments, so I would say try to do more shading and detailing on things that you have more time to do.
I do have one more suggestion. It makes me crazy when people post assignments and don't say what grade they got! :)

Plot wise, you should have applied the deeper meaning of vision quests. There are far more aspects of development than realizing who you are. You also didn't explain how he developed his skills. Where's the stimulation?

Animation/Drawing, very good.
Plot, needs some work.

Not bad, not bad at all. I like the story, and the theme about becoming a man is timeless. The animation wasn't extraordinary, but it wasn't bad, and it wasn't anime, as you said. Nicely original, a breath of fresh air. I particularly like the end, where he hands his tomahawk to his own son, so that he can take his spirit journey.

"Another nice piece"

You ought to be a directot, seems you might have a thing for knowing how to pick the right scenes, adding the correct music and still getting the movie to convey it's message.

Not sure what to criticize, except the technical stuff like the occasional chopiness of the flash, or the graphics that wasnt bad but at some parts could be improved. Lack of sound might not really be a problem.

A huge plus of this flash is that it conveys a message for the viewer. Well done.

This was a very well done flash, but one thing bugs me.

At the part with him walking beside the grass, it git really choppy.
I'm no expert, but is there anyway to make it smoother?
it miht be my computer, but other than that, excellent.

This is a spectacular flah movie ten out of ten. I'm kind of new to flash movies (So far I've only watched LegendaryFrog's movies before I joined this site. I'm trying to broaden my horizens and I was directed to this site.

I really hope you got a good grade for this entry ^_^

I really liked your art and the way you managed to convey wisdom in the eagle, and the elder native men. Overall the story was realistic, and the music was great and helped move the story during some of its slower areas.
