i had trouble reading faust because well...i just don't like to read, and this cartoon made me understand faust, so if u had made this cartoon a few months ago when i took my faust test, i probably would have gotten a better grade, anyway nice style but where were the 3 angels? good idea to tell us a classic story through flash, keep up the good work and i can't wait to see the next one

I gave you crap points but overall a 9...the idea was very good. The sound was nice too, except the music had some gaps in it. It's pretty interesting the way you did it. Good ideas and stuff, but you should take some tmie into animating it also. The little scene where faust walks was unsmooth....change that and it will be ok.

Wow, finally someone on newgrounds dares to realise a classic novel in flash and not some kind of stupid sitcom with blue and green (green, green like a frog!) characters instead of blacks.
Mephistoteles reminds me of commander Ikari.
Whatever the graphics were cool (especially the portrayal of god).
The music applied perfectly to the scene ( plenty of the overall score relies on the excellent choice of music). If you have questions to faust maybe I, with my artistic genius, could act as an advisor to you.
At last I have a few questions to you: Do you speak german?
Did you read the german version of faust? Will your flash series take place in a modern setting?

When I originally saw and reviewed Faust ep.0,I did not have high hopes for the series- teh south park style with the mixed "Hellsing" references were more than a bit off for the story. However, Now that I see what you're doing withe actual series I am more than delighted. I've always been of the opinion that good literacy is not a predominate feature of NG users by and large. So, when a piece such as this comes out, it is iportant to laud the arrival of something that bears witness to true, "high" art.

Having read the play, You have hit the nail on the head. The Graphics were great, and the music fit perfectly. I especially like the portrayel of the Devil.

My goodness......everything seemed prefect. You are one of few i have seen to depict a scene with so much raw emotion especially since it was from a novel.

I truly love this. The music was excellent and a perfect fit with the scene following. You truly toke your time on this. I got goosebumps at certain points and that only proves how good it is. I truly respect your work. A definetly 5 out 5.
