But that walk cycle is horrible.

I really liked your style and presentation.
But it isn't fair to make a tutorial of a walk cycle when your walk cycle is so out of wack like this one is.

Dunno where you came from dude but I'm really starting to like your style and attitude towards Flash movies! Seeing your tutorials alone has made me realise flaws in the movie I have submitted here, if your full length animations are as good as your other stuff, I think you're definatly going to be an artist to watch!

I definitely learned something from this. Yeah, I was thinking that it would probably be better to keep these kinds of tweens and animations within their own movie clip, rather than moving each individual part on the main timeline. Thankfully this clearly confirmed that.

In all, fantastic tutorial. I'm glad when the pros reach out to try and help new animators. Eventually that's how we can all get good at Flash.

now that this is out maybe there won't be so many crappy flashes. doubt it though, because most of them are crappy through a lack of effort (ie. stuff anyone can make in 5 min.)
