It's wrong to steal as mentioned in the "Weird Al" Yankovic son "Don't Download This Song", but that's beside the point.

I loved Ren & Stimpy when it was on. I even have the First & Second Seasons on DVD.

Ren and Stimpy: Humor > Insanity/Strangeness = Funny as hell
Stealing Games: Insanity/Strangeness > Humor = A little Disturbing

One can almost name the episodes quoted in Stealing games. Because of this, I would say this work is more of an adaptation than an inspiration. But don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, I preferred the scene with the begging store clerk with the sad background music.
