What a fantastic flash. I have graded this 'outstanding' -only just though! It was honestly a superb flash. The graphics were very good for about 90% of the piece, the style was thought provoking and very moody and atmospheric. The sound was almost perfect, a lovely addition to the piece, however, there could have been more on the music front - just to add even more power. None-the-less, its outstanding! Everyone can relate to that theme, and I can definitly. It was perfectly solemn and warm. well done!

This has some of the most well drawn illustrations on Newgrounds. I can tell you worked hard on them. This was a beautiful film and the music flowed nicely with your artwork, and your message. My hat is off to you. Wonderful movie.

The animation and over all style was just totally amazing. It makes a change from nothing but mindless gore and childish humor that is usually found on here. I espeically loved the way that you focused on diffrent types of people from all walks of life. Overall this is one of the best animations I've seen.

"Wonderful, artistic flash"

You had a fecund body of themes to work with and you integrated them well. The artwork and direction was tremendous, each scene blending perfectly with the music, setting the tone with stylistic finesse. I love productions that try to realise the human spirit, and show us in all our glorious, imperfect reality. Your flash accomplishes this with elan.

The only thing that really bothers me (vis-a-vis this particular flash) is your skill at animation. It is - or rather, was - somewhat cumbersome with regards to movement and articulation; the awkwardness was enough to distract me from the artistic qualities of several scenes, although paradoxically enough, it also enchanced certain others. For example, the priest's stilted hand movements as he made the sign of the cross gave it a certain blunt impact.

All said, I commend you for your stalwart perserverance in the production of intellectually stimulating and enlightening flashes. Having just seen "Autumn Tree," I see that you do not shy away from controversial subjects - something I find both admirable and bold. I must say that your animation skills have also progressed markedly between "Alive" and the newer material.

your drawing skills amaze me. and the animation was completly stunning. this movie isnt in the top 50. and that means something is wrong. it should be in the top 50 though. faaar up on the list. i dont know anything you could do to improve this flash. now if you would excuse me so i can go find my jaw, i think i dropped it on the floor.

Very touching, and it applies to many people. Everyone's felt alone, sad, angry.... and it was portrayed well here. No one is absolutely happy, but everyday is a blessing of some sorts, it's all how you view it. As they say, for everything dark, there's something light. And everyday the sun comes up is a new chance to live life, and that's the most important thing you can do...LIVE IT.
