Ok so first of all, the dialogue needs serious work. That and you probably should have done some research on the customs because the main character should have shown his respects first of all then answered the Don's questions. also he just waltzed in there wouldnt a big time mafia boss especially an older gentleman have a few bodyguards? at least have the main character escorted in. He probably wouldnt have gotten very far into that room with that hand cannon sticking out his backside either. It would have been nice to hear some mob slang in there too.

This toon I watched because I like your work and I have a hreat fondness for the Godfather. I think that maybe some of the language like the work 'dick' a high class Don probably wouldn't use but maybe I'm just loopy tonight. Great story line though! Good animation to. It be awsome if you made a series...

To be honest, I would have to agree with the reviewer previously on most points. Not just from reading the reviews, but watching the film made me realise that this was quite a loose, disappointing tribute to The Godfather trilogy. The reviewer previously was certainly right on one thing... And that is, that you cannot become the Don by killing the actual Don at that time. I think though, if this was not based or as a tribute to the Godfather and perhaps was another crime flash based around a related storyline, I think it would have made a very good animation. Thats just my opinion. You have to expect criticism when you base a movie near the Godfather.. As there are many Godfather fans out there, this will be the kind of thing you might here from them. But, I'll say, I can respect you for having the balls to make a movie like this. Lol, because there sure are alot of judgmental and critical people when it comes to films based on original classics.

Mafiosos are expected to be violent, so this flash was basically just a vehicle for violence; forget the story. One doesn't become Don of a family by murdering their Godfather.

There is little reason given for the Godson's "new methods." We are supposed to imagine he's like Santino Corleone, but we aren't given a backstory.

Writing like "You'll become the leader of our pride..." makes it sound like the Lion King more than a Mob story.

There is some good art, but as mentioned by another reviewer, the voice acting is horrible. The story is very much lacking too. Having "the House of the Rising Sun," was hardly appropriate for the ending

Also, Nikolai isn't an Italian name.

Asking the viewer to have patience for this is a joke. No real story, no loose ends tied. Just a bad tribute to a bunch of mob films.

Wow. Pretty. Unlike a lot of ten minute or so flashes, this one actually kept me in my seat and paying full attention. Normally I have a short attention span, but this one kept my riveted (I'm not being sarcastic).

I'm not sure Nikolai would have been made Don, but whatever, it's your movie. It's lovely, like always, but the animation needs a little tweaking and the over all color scheme seems to bright to me (from what i've seen, the Godfather Trilogy is kind of dark, isn't it?). However, I could never do anything like this, so who the hell am I to talk?

You have excellent taste in music! You once again choose good songs to go along with the movie (minus the Godfather theme, because that's a given).

Alright, I am only downing this since I have extensive knowledge of the La Cosa Nostra or Mafia. First off if Nikolai shot and killed the Don, he wouldn't become the Don himself, he would've been hit as soon as they found the body. Although I did like the hit done on the Felano boy, very well done. But the disrespect Nikolai was showing the Don is unacceptable in La Cosa Nostra. And lets say he did get away with killing the Don, the Capo Bastrone or Underboss would've taken over, that's why the ranks are in place. Now if you are thinking of making another Mafia related flash, which I suggest you do seeing as this was pretty well made, I can help you with certain aspects of it.
