"A nice first flash."

This was a good first flash but it did have it's flaws such as many typos in the script and lack of detail in the animation overall especially the character designs,i didn't really enjoy this all that much cause it was more sneaking around than it was action,overall it was a nice first flash but you just need to practice more on you animation detail and be more creative but just keep on practicing and you will be better in those catagories in no time. =)

The animation and drawings were pretty cool , but the Samurai should have been japanese rather than a white guy. It just would have made more sense, also, good work on the timing of all the text, it was somewhat interesting to read and went along well with the animation, there were points of the story though, that I'm not completely sure I understood, and there was nothing really to specify what EXACTLY was happening, or why.

I'll have to agree with ralip1 on this one... the concept is sound and the music is eerie.. but the animation could use a lot of work..the story is to illistrate the betrayal of one's lord by finding another way of life right? Not bad, that's something i havn't heard of before, but put it in a format that flows, this was way too choppy. Nice try, but the effort isn't impressive. Sorry, Maybe you could try a Manga-esqe style? just one frame at a time? that would prolly be really cool.

I animation is ewww, the story is... it isnt even that good. I mean, its basically a narrator saying quotes and cliches.

The story isnt even present really... and the sound.... Yeah... sound was bad too.

But the thing that bugs me is that people actually like this....

For the time it was made this is truly impressive. 2000 is a long time ago and yet this is one of the submissions that hold up. It doesn't have graphical flare but it does acomplish its task in the story department.

I liked the idea and the story, however the execution was done more like a film trailer rather than a short story. I could see what you were going for and to keep it up. More practice, plus trial and error will help improve your animation skills. I did enjoy the story, the ending was endearing.

I really enjoyed this movie, your style in addition to the music reminds me of an anime called 100 Stories aka Requiem From the Darkness - a really great anime thats very dark and deals with a lot of dark subjects. I like it a lot :)
