It wasn't that good, first of all you made the whole thing from the same side view camera angle which is what made your fighting scenes lack the power and "coolness" of Super Mario Brothers Z and Power Star. Also your dialog was awful
" King Kong's got nothing on me" what were you thinking. The fights and the animation was also too slow, speed up your animation speed it creates tension and makes the fighting more epic. Your sound effects didn't match in my opinion for example when Luigi smashed in the cliff the sound effect was really quiet and was not what I was expecting use louder sound effects, and your music was the same thing for 2/3 of the movie. So I would have to say you need to switch up your camera angles more, improve your dialog it's important it sets the tone, vary your music, get better sound effects, speed up your animation, oh and use better sprites. Over it wasn't too bad.
