In saying that I have a problem, some bgm wouldn't go astray.. nice game somewhat addictive though and I appreciate the effort put into the interactivity there must be at least 120 planets and an awful lot of ships..

Hey there,

I wrote one of the extensive reviews of your sequel to this game. Since I played that first, I jokingly refer to this as a prequel.

I agree with the previous poster that the later ships aren't as good. Specifically, the Defiant is awesome. The pulse phasers do as much damage as a torp, can be speed fired, and recharge. I've cleared a number of sectors with this ship and even blown up the 1500hp monster ships w/ out much problem. (Though it isn't exciting playing chase with them it is true.)

The ship is also fast so can easily play hit and run w/ larger ships.

Anyway, fun game. There are a number of elements of this game that I think are excellent and would be fun in combination with your later game. Then, I've always loved Taipan and other trading games.

It would be fun if the ship's were worth building up for. I'm at the $100,000 ship and the $5,000 one is way better...

I was having fun, but it's getting really boring and stupid. I have to spend soo much time to try and get a better ship just to find out the ship I had at the begining was better...

This is a fantastic game. Only gripe I have are about a few glitches I noticed. It seems that later in the game the starbases won't recharge my shields unless they have gone down, so I end up having to sit in a battle until they are gone to get them fixed. Also, later in the game in systems with a lot of ships, after a while the game won't let me lock on to anyone to shoot. And I got the message about the Blender system, but when I killed a bunch of ships there it just gave the message again. Am I doing something wrong? Other than that, great game. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for number three.

i love the game....its the firdt game on here that i have spent more than 10 minutes on....i just dont uderstand how to win it.....i saved all the systems but i still have 200k before i can get the last ship....did i miss something??

It took me a while to get the hang of it. I realized I couldn't just go out and try to destroy other ships with the little ones, I realized I had to get the bigger ones first LOL. But I beat the game, it took me a long while. I loved the ending, and I'm glad that I didn't exactly have to get all the prestige points to before I got the last ship, which was totally awsome.

You did a great job, and there aren't too many games out here that are as cool. I can't wait for your sequal.
