This was a beautiful piece of art. Truely and absolutely. I enjoyed it intencely up to the end where I felt a slight feeling of disapointment. Why you may ask? It was too short. Now I know it's ment to be a little flash but when I saw the words "The Spirit of The Samurai" I was expecting somthing that would dive into the samurai mentalities, way of life, and thier Bushido. I find the way they thought to be very poetic in sorts, if not spiritual. But okay okay that didn't happen I can move on BUT when you said you were inspired by Kill Bill, one of my favourite movies, I guess I set my standerds pretty darn high! I'm afraid to say that I didn't see any Kill Bill aspects to this. But I'm not trying to diss your work or tell you that it is bad, FAR FROM IT! This is a very good animation! Very good! The graphics, sound, blood, every thing was perfect. All i am saying is that you have proven to me that you can do the action and the cinimatic parts, now lets see how well you can make the plot parts. I bet you could make a great samurai epic.
Bottom line: This is a great flash and I loved it

This would be a good intro to a samurai movie, if you decide to expand on it. Other than its length, it's great.

Was expecting more and got less. Problem I see with a lot of short films, like this, is that they get to a point were you're just reaching a climax in the movie...and it ends. This is very disappointing.

It seemed cool with nice sharp sounds and a split second flash showing the audience what was happening but that's not enough.

The filesize was great but now I can understand why, it was way too short. But even if you did make it longer,if it was still just a flashing image every 5 or so seconds it would be too repetitive. It's not very easy to make this better.

To be blunt, this is your worst flash in my opinion. Perhaps it was your first but your other animations are much, much better. 2/5

It was nice and stuff, the symbolism, as you say, I understand, but I have to give harsh critique, I'm sorry. One: The first samurai...It was clearly kenshin, even if it DID flash for a second, it just was CLEARLY kenshin...

Two: That last dead samurai...I typed in "Samurai" on google...I found the EXACT same samurai....

So, It was nice and all, but don't steal stuff.

Cool sound and graphics. its short, which is good for what this movie offers. not a bad job, but maybe you should make movies with more of a plot :)
