"Not the greatest"

Wasn't the greatest ever. I liked the character style though. The animation could have used some improvement. It wasn't bad but it also wasn't great.

Yeah, it wasn't perfect, but it was also my first animation. I've learned quite a bit about character animation in the interim, and you can bet your sweet sweet account that my next submission will hit frontpage again after all these years...

"good stuff"

This was a cool movie. I like how the kids dont really care that thier classmate was jsut killed, but they point all their shit at the other dude. Well it was cool nonetheless.

They cared, just only so much as it affected them. The black comedy of callousness towards violence elevated to the nth degree.

I agree to a certain extent what you are saying. I don't understand sometimes though. When i see violence on TV or video games or whatever I don't think "oh, I wanna go kill someone now". I think violence on TV is ok, cos I understand it's not always real (for video games anyway) and it's how I shouldn't act etc. Obviously, some people don't understand that. I really hate the way this world is turning out, hopefully I'll be long gone before the world destroys itself...btw, good animation. Says a lot for being so short. Well done!

Yes. YOU understand, and I understand, BUT, a whole slew of misguided youth think violence is a great outlet for anger. And while in the short term this may indeed be true, the consequences aren't worth the brief catharsis.

And I personally hope I AM around when it all comes down. Because I will laugh at no one in particular, and say "told you so."

hey man, nice message. some people just really dont understand what that menat. but it was a very well done picture of what society will evolve into if the media continues making violence out to be a common, ok thing. By the way, there is a movie called Dreamworlds, made by a massachusets university professor. in the video he examines popular music videos today that are subliminaly portraying women as errotic sexual beings and men as the dominaters. it also talks about violence in popular music videos. its a hard film to find, but look for it. it has some interesting ideas.

Sounds interesting...I'll have to see if I can find it. I'm glad the message came across to you. We're digging our own grave as far as violence goes in this country. We broadcast it constantly and yet continue to be shocked and appalled when incidents like Columbine happen. It's about time people realized you reap what you sow.
