Author's Response:

Glad you liked it, but they've got pills now to help you with incontinence. Also, I hear Depends® have gotten cheaper on account of the aging population of baby boomers. You should look into that. =\

"Wicked!!"

date: December 30, 2006

I really love this. the only people who like and enjoy war are phycos and those really patriotic people who think that their country is better than anyone elses.let me explain what i've given you though:
graphics: good
style: unique and interesting
sound: not much but quality
violence: the kid got his head blown off
interactivity: none
humour: this is serious but i wasnt expecting all those guns
overall: a masterpiece

Author's Response:

Glad you liked it. I tried to make a serious point in a humorous manner, and it looks like it worked for you. Though I made this in the aftermath of Columbine, it still holds far too true, what with Virginia Tech and all the other school shootings happening lately. Violence isn't an answer, and if we choose it as one, it can only go in one direction...mutually assured destruction.

"School You Say"

date: September 22, 2006

Reminds me of boarding school, but we didn't have guns you would be amazed at what 17 year olds would do to get back at each other. Socks and soap were only the start of it. Really sad how the worlds going

Author's Response:

Yeah, the glorification of violence only makes things more violent. It really doesn't fix anything and just helps to increase the prison population.

In high school we just launched quarters at each-other's knuckles until we bled. Fun times.

"Good flash, bad point"

date: March 8, 2006

I have seen some of your flash and understand your basic views so far. Noone likes war except physopaths. Sometimes the ONLY way to stop something is to take action instead of just sit there take a bullet. The flash doesn't quite express the world very well but I'm rating it good because it is good quality. We solve hundreds of thousands of problems peacefully, but the media gets more money and better ratings when really violent stuff happens so they only show the violent stuff. Other than the theme, nice job.

Author's Response:

I agree with you fully. That's most of the problem as I see it...that the media, by overemphasizing the violence, makes it seem like the better alternative just through its ubiquity.

Clearly this is not the case. Some situations require negotiation, some require decisive and deadly action. However, each situation should be approached logically, and the solution that best fits the given problem determined and used. Underlying bias towards a particular sort of action can only make it less likely that the best possible solution be reached.

Glad you liked the flash, and glad it prompted a well worded and thought out response. THAT is what I'm looking for.

"I guess that'll teach'em"

date: November 29, 2005

I can see this from two angles:
1. Don't be annoying.
2. Don't bring a gun to school.
If I have forgotten something here, please fill me in, but that's what I got out of this one. I guess the moral is "don't irritate people if you don't know what's coming" or "don't bring weapons to school". At least that's what I think.
Kidding aside, that was a great flash, I truly liked it, good work!

Author's Response:

Nail + head = you.

Or something equitable. GET IT? EQUITABLE? EQUATION? EH? EH???!?!?!!
