"Good stuff"

I'm actually making toons. I've found this to be the single best method for shading. Good job.

"Good but..."

date: January 29, 2006

ITs good but you left out stuff, like locking the 1st layer, if people didnt know that they might get confused and, some of the stuff you said didn't make sense like with the eraser tool, that option wasn't even available when you left clicked or couble clicked ot whatever, nice drawing but include all details if you plan to do this again. Also i said Animal Crossing Blooper said Animal Crossing Bloopers and so sorry for that otherwise i guess that movie was ok.

"Nice tutorial but..."

That is the stupidest and most tedious thing you can ever do. >:(

Author's Response:

thing is ....say you done the drawing...and added the shading...and later wanted to change the colour of something on the picture...the shaded layer will already be there and you wouldn't have to dig up the darker colour for the shading. I know it's a long way, but it works. I use this and another shading technique.

"very good"

This is the best tutorial I have seen yet. Not trying to be sarcastic, but the others should take a lesson or 20 from you.

"Nice ideas!"

date: May 25, 2005

This is a great idea, especially for people like me trying to learn how to draw stuff. You should keep these up, maybe more people will start making quality flashes :/

Author's Response:

"Oh, is that how?"

Too bad I have zero drawing skill, otherwise I'd try this out :)
It looks like it would work pretty nicely, though.
Gives a whole new respect to some of the movies that are floating around.
Why was this submitted as a game, btw?

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review. As to why I put it was a game...well...I chose it, cause it was interactive, and you could move through the pages, and you dont watch it like a movie. Since there is only the choice of movie and game, game was the closest to the type of flash it was. There should be another choice for tutorials or something to describe something that isnt a movie, nor a game.

Author's Response:

Thanks. Yours was good too. I didn't even know about the paste in place command...i use illustrator as well, and love the paste in front and was wishing that was in flash too. Guess it was after all. :)
