"Oohhh first Time Trial!"

The cdoncept of the Time Trail is quite a good idea, forcing people to rack their brains for ideas and really pull out all the stops to get their work finished in time. It's good to see that because this is the first, there is no contraint on what people can do eg no themes/motifs.
Sqeezy's Entry
Good entry. Can't beat a little bit of Offspring. The only downer is that doing a random little music video seems to be taking the easy way out. Animating loads of random little things to music as opposed to trying one big idea, shows a lack of thinking, maybe confidence in your ability to get a proper entry finished in time? Still looked fantastic nonetheless.
Luis' Entry
Now this is more like it. Again the choice of music was fantastic for this, it seemed to work better in fact. The plot, as simple as it was, was quickly and firmly established and the humour was kept up at a good pace. This is really well animated considering the time restraints. Good job.
HeRetiK's Entry
Shortest of this Time Trial's entrys, never the less I think it is the most powerful and thought-provoking. Minimal animation was required, but it just looked gorgeous, and the fact that it was the besrt piece out of the four definitely shows that it's easy to convey so much in such a short space of time.
Zt's Entry
I found this by far to be the weakest out of the four. The animation was decent at best at the beginning, but became pretty shoddy near the end. the graphics were never that great, and dropped through the floor when a stick man started skateboarding. Unlike Sqeezy's entry, which managed to still look good whilst in a random video style, this was at the complete other end of the spectrum.
For the first Time Trial, this was almost a complete hit, and a good way of showcasing what is possible in such a short period of time.
