"Interesting Flash Movie... Great Job"

I read a hand full of replies about how people think that the punishment was not just and how we should be thinking about how to prevent people from doing this. You cant prevent them from doing this... eventually people can lose touch with different emotions (especially remorse) and they do not see that this is wrong, nor would they be bothered by seeing pictures of their victims while locked in solitary confinement. And it wouldnt matter because people can lose the will to live and die a lot quicker so that a punishment would have no effect before they are dead.
Someone also mentioned torture... the problem with that is where do we stop? Eventually, by sentencing them to torture, we ourselves may lose our connection with emotions and soon become out of touch with what we see as right or just.
There will always be corruption, crime, and most of all murder in our world. The only way to stop it is to have only one person left alive so that no one can argue, and the only one that last person can murder is him or herself.
Just a thought....
