im stuck on jumping...I dont know how you get the + there...what does it all mean?..I did everything you said word for word! I even drew the same drawings but it didnt turn out right..it just goes through the platform

This was a very informative tutorial, and easy too. The navigation between sections was a great way to let people go at thier own pace and the extra help buttons were a great addition!

Expect more hits, I'm going to tell all my friends in my Flash course about this submission!!

most everything was well explained, which is good, but still somehow comes out being difficult to run through. the only thing i could put my finger on was that it said to name the item slot 'itemslot1', where it needed 'itemSlot1' to work with the given script. while it is easily understandable why the typo was there, it could tend to frustrate those new to flash.

once you get past that stuff, it is great. put more stuff out!

It was okay but i have one complaint... where do you paste the script on the actionscript? Do you go to expert mode and paste it there. I put the help button but it made absolutely no sense to me at all. If you know what im talking about can you explain it by responding or sending me an email at therham@hotmail.com thanks,

gj once again, but i have oooone problem... =P how do i make multiple grounds? wen i make new 1's or copy and paste, it just goes through the other 1 (not the first 1 though)

Interesting, I had some trouble quickly learning the rules for the tutorial. Maybe if those were easier, like a button that says "help" instead of down arrow, or the splat. Nice layout, you spent time making it, instead of print screening it, but then it contradicts the code you tell me to copy and paste! :) oh well. I would have liked to have tested out what it was supposed to do in, the final product, at the very end.

The graphics were pretty good and it told me a lot. The sound was still the same but the help buttons was a very good idea. I think it will help people begin their flash journey.

A very great job on action script. Newgrounds should put this in the tutorial pages.
