because i was able to learn everything you said by reading the actionscript. it worked perfectly, i'm using flash 8 pro. but you didn't understand some of the script in some areas, and i would have had a hard time understanding it if i didn't have prior knowledge of other programming languages. also, the cut and paste method is ineffective, and doesn't really teach anyone anything. one example i found was when you said !jumping was a shortcut referring to if the key was down. !jumping means that if the variable jumping is false, then do the following. i think this should be redone, but make sure you understand each step and explain each one.

nice job great for beginners maybe putting a basic jump in it next time would be good but no necessary to Robin1232 you dont select the cross its fixed in place you move the object around the cross which is the reference point for actionscript. anyways good job keep up the good work

well almost everything works only that when i walk to that item i just walk along it and it doesnt go into that slot it does nothing
