"It just don't add up"

I gave this a nine due to the fact that I loved it. But when I think about it, I don't know why. The sound was brilliant, but other than that the graphics were choppy, the pacing was a bit slow, and the idea was taken from an early 90's video game.
But for some reason I really really enjoyed it. Did you put subliminal messages in there or some shit?! Let me think about this for a sec... hmmm... okay... no. THAT's not it... hmmmmmmm...
I GOT IT! I finally know why I loved it. It's because this movie took a FUCK LOAD of effort to make. This artist TOOK THEIR TIME to make something! WOW!
It may not have the greatest graphics on a Flash movie ever, but the craft was extrodinary. Great work my friend. Never let a lack of patience get in the way of the final product. Who cares about how soon it gets uploaded to this site? Keep it up buddy.

Hey man, this was JUST like the game, well, mostly, except for a few parts. It was a sweet ending too! I don't want to give it away, but that guy, whoo! I don't think he'll be getting up anytime soon. Good work yo!

"Good Stuff"

I haven't played the game that this movie was based on but I still enjoyed it. Even though the graphics were simplistic the style and feel more than made up for it. The way the guy was sneeking past the gard made me smirk. And the scenes where the hooded figure and beast dog thing are executed is very stilisticly violent.
Keep up the good work.

This is great. I bought this game from a kid at school for $5 in Jr High back when it was still new. He said it sucked. man did I ever rip him off. great game. Very cinematic. Not many games manage that with high tech engines. Deus Ex excluded. Anyway you made me do a total flashback there and that rocked. You know at one time they were gonna make a Real movie out of Out of this World as in live action. But then Mario Brothers bombed and the video game movie industry suddenly didn't look so promising so they canned it.

Great work! maybe as close as we'll ever get to an out of this world movie

I don't know about the last guy, It's a good style of abstract illustration. If the characters were drawn different the feel of the movie would not portrayed correctly. Good job.

I can see why people who have not played the game would have a problem with the graphics, but Smoke Show has done a great job of capturing the feel of the game. The graphics are very similar, but most importantly, the creepy MOOD of the game was captured very well. Nice job, i'll be looking forward to part 2.

that brings back alot of memories of being back in 7th er 8th grade when me and my friend brandon shelled out the dough to get this game. back in the day this was cutting edge shit. you captured the whole feel of the game perfectly. and even if this wasn't about an old video game, it still would have gotten a 10 from me. very wicked.
