Are you trying to get the story right?
cuz he wakes up in a pool and he runs from that damn dog thing while dodging the needle worms, and then bad ass monkey face shows up, all the lab stuff was the opening b4 he teleported, when i was like 7 i worshipped that game i swear it

i dont want to be picky or enything but you are wrong about that he's name is Conrad in Another world,,
he's name have always been Lester Chaykin in the Another world (Out of this world) games,, the game you are Conrad B Hart is "Flashback and "Fade to black" ^_^

The detail of this flash was outstanding for it being made in early 2001,the animation was great and it had a very eerie style to it and overall it was a real intresting watch,excellent job.

If you're going to make a movie about a game/universe - your facts have to be correct about that universe. Things that haven't been explained, you are free to experiment with.

1. Lester died in the Heart of the Alien. If anything, that isn't lester. (or Conrad which he's called in Another World)

2. The leech can kill you with a small cut due to it's extremly potent venom.
If anything he should be dead cold after that enconter.

3. I didn't like the way he opened his eyes in the begin. It's way too copied from the scene where lester was caged in the original game. He can open his eyes in more than one way you know.

4. Animation was half decent.Though it felt too 2D, the impressive part about AW/OOTW is that eventhough it used polygon 2d drawings it felt very 3D.

5. Music is ok, sound effects are ok.

6. You didn't explain very much. In fact, it all felt very very random.

In short, research, get your facts straight and make another.
The only way you'll be able to use lester is if you reinact some dramatic part of the game - in which you HAVE TO BE PRECISE.

I'll give you a 3 for the effort and because I love the game.
But I was hoping to give you more. Hopefully next time.

I was about 12 when this game first came out. Needless to say, it was my life for that month or two after I first got my hands on it.

You captured so much about the story, the memories, the art style, and the dramatic music. You brought back Lester, you brought back the leeches, you brought back the guard dogs... And the alien friend was there. Very cool.

In particular, the first scene was very close to the art style of the game - that was very impressive. I only had two gripes, though. Call me geeky, but:

1. The first alien's outfit looked weird. I remember them having a roman centurion look to them. I'm particularly talking about the helmets and the long pants the guy was wearing.

2. The lasers, when blue, can literally vaporize you. While the blood effect was cool, there was no pop-fizzle disintegration.

All that said, though, it was very cool. I know Eric Chahi would be proud that his legacy lives on. :)

you made me remember i never actually finished the game. XD i got stuck at some part that u had to jump over a ledge... i cant remember lol
