THIS WAS PRETTY GOOD BUT THE PICS NEEDED TO BE MORE CLEAR. THE ENEMY FOLLOWS TO QUICKLY HOW DO I SLOW IT DOWN.
I ALSO HAVE A PLATFORM GAME I HAVE MADE HOW DO I MAKE IT SO IT JUPS ON TO PLATFORMS TO FOLLOW ME AND STUFF LIKE THAT IF YOU CAN HELP ME IT WOULD BE GREAT THNX ANYWAYS THOUGH

If you want to find "Instance", look in the properties box. Under the name there is an "Instance Name" box. Type it there.

Finally someone made an actionscript that works... just one thing was wrong, I made an enemy, his intstance name was "Enemy", and i put in the exact actionscript, but for some reason when I tested it, there wasn't an enemy. But.. oh well... good job on this.
By the way, the reason my enemy dosen't appear might be because the program i use, i use macromedia flash MX 2004 Version 7.2 , please respond.

it was really helpfull. the music was enoying after two minutes,
