I like it. I am new to flash and i need help. I'm trying to make a movie with sprites and so far i got the sprite to run as a symbol and i cant insert it into the scene. Can you help me i have Flash ver.7.

Also can u make another sprite tutorial with flash 7 ????

This really should have had more detail about tracing bitmap, deleting the pic when going onto the next keyframe and showing the movie clip was in the Library window, but it was pretty good.

I still cant figure out how to get rid of the stupid bloody white box around my home made sprites...its killing me please please help me!!!

Ok I got the sprites working and everything, but how do you make it so the background youve chosen for your slide shows through the white of the sprite sheet. Someone please help me. o and thanks for the help.

ya you cant even see what the mouse clicks and its to fast...
magnify the screenshots of flash to you cant read what it clicks and also it needs a back butten so you can replay some thing so you dont have to watch the whole thing over

This was really help full if only i wasnt so bad at flash i tried but i cant get it to work, when i put the sprites on top of eachother then when i go to scene 1 i try to put in symbol 1 but it comes up as 10 frames so i cant tweeen it, what am i doing wrong

Im just starting making flash movies, and looked at ur tutorial, i have now finished my movie and am entering a competition, thanks to you. Great tutorial, and an excellent first try. Also, I give this a 10 and a 5. Well done. I seriously recommend this tutorial for all beginners who just weant to try out a flash movie.

Hey, that flash helped me animate a sample sprite sheet. I animated Lunaedge's stance from Rockman Zero 4 for the first time. Good job. I'm giving this a 10 and the movie a 5. I'm gonna add this movie to my submission fav's. :)
