However, we've been together for 2 years, and I've already given her a promise ring. I can't really sound like anything other than a dumbass, hormonal teen unless I spend about 20 pages describing in amazing detail why we are perfect for each other. Nobody would read it, and you would all think I'm gay, so I'll just leave it at this.

I really don't think people have the right to judge other's relationships unless they've seen the people together. I've been with my girlfriend for awhile now, on and off, for a few reasons, but we've finally realized that nobody could ever compare with each other. Known her for three years, loved her for two and a half. Judge me all you want, I could care less.

I thought I was in love once, but really I just liked the idea of having sex. When the sex stopped, the "love" went away.

I'm a teenager and I know that if I have a gf I'm most likely not going to actually love her, even if I say I do. What I hate is when teenagers start dating and already say they love each other. It pisses me off so much.

I'd say it's about 95% of all teenaged couples that don't actually love each other, even though they do. The other 5% are the ones that would most likely end up being together for the rest of their lives.

Know what? Make that 98%.

But could he live without you? Especially with the knowledge that you died as a direct result of his action/inaction?

In some regards it would actually be easier to take the bullet because you'd be dead and you wouldn't have to deal with the aftermath. the other person would have the rest of their life to contemplate what the could have or should have done to save their loved one.

If it came down to it I really don't know what I'd do. I'd hate to leave her like that cause I know how crushed she'd be, but at the same time, if she took the bullet it would still be equally as hard for me.

I think it's one of those situations where you can't be certain what you will do until it actually happens.

Simple, when some one's using High Velocity rounds, or a Carbine (which probably use HVR anyway).
The bullet flies through me, through the person behind me, then injures the person after that.

But of course most guns which use high Velocity rounds are Assault Rifles, so they'd only fire one if they'd put it on Semi automatic and Knew, before they pulled the trigger, that they'd of caused the ammount of damage they wanted to.

But on the idea of taking bullets for a love, I would. Even though there isn't a lot I wont do in order to protect innocent lives. But if the killer is as dangerous as I just mentioned. My main priorities would be:
1) Get Everyone out of the hot zone.
2) Intercept the killer at all costs - Whilst keeping as many others alive as possible.
