Historically, in America anyway, being a Communist back in the 40s-80s basically had the same weight as being called a terrorist because Russia and the U.S were constantly butting heads (but never actually fighting) for a L-O-N-G time. That weight is still carrying over to today's generations, especially as Communist China (America's next 'threat') gets bigger and bigger.

Communism is hated for a variety of reasons: Any of which can be found with a search engine or completing your school education. Take the initiative to find out yourself.

It was first hated on by the US because Truman believed communism to be a threat to the "free world." Because of the communist ideologies, it is just natural in the world we live in for these ideologies to not go down the path on what they were written out on paper to be. Instead communist states are usually turned into corrupt, land-wanting, economically unstable, totalitarian societies.

Because these nations turn into dictatorships due to their being no motivation (the ideologies present everyone as equal), only the leaders win. Everyone else fails.

Anyway that is the basis of what I have been taught.

The one thing about communism that could possibly be accepted is the fact that everyone is an equal,no middle class,poor people,or rich ass dicks.

okay, first of all comunism is only a theory, it was never established. There has only been socialism. And the sistem of government itself is normal. It get's bad only when it's run by the wrong people.
Okay, I wont risk stating any political arguments about the soviet union because this forum is full of easily flameable smartasses, but I will state one, which I think, can never be justified.

Because there will always be a group of people within the communist community making more money than others which screws up the point of it all; say the Prime Minister or another official.
And those who are making the same amount of money usually shouldn't because one of them is doing a much harder job than the other.
A system that presents itself as fair and equal to everyone who isn't doing equal taks rendering it unfair.

A country needs a line of command to maintain the peace, it has never been the greatest solution but Democracy is probably the best :/

It's hated because it's on the opposite end of the political spectrum from capitalist, which means that the beliefs of communism (and other left-wing governments and ideals) conflict directly or indirectly with the ideals of capitalism.

Although when either get to large enough heights of extremism, they become the same - Totalitarianism.
