By now a lot of you have seen LeafWorthy's latest movie:

Panda Fight, by LeafWorthy Type: Movie Rating: Ages 17+

He made this for his school film club, where the provided theme was Pandas and Civil War.

If you're bored over Thanksgiving break, here's a theme: Turkeys and the Rapture.

If you make a Turkey Rapture movie over the break, submit it on MONDAY. This isn't a spam event, so go all out or don't go at all. I'll highlight the best of Monday in a post on Tuesday. Only do this if you have nothing else to do over Thanksgiving break.

Today's Wacom tablet winner is Perry! Perry first appeared on NG as a participant in the "Paralyzed" collab. It turns out he was only 11 at the time!

Perry participated in a number of collabs throughout 2007, but found his niche as an artist for games in 2008. He's probably best known for his art in the "Best Friends Forever" series, with programmer Skeik-Sprite.

Only 14 years old with three years of experience, Perry is yet another artist to watch on NG! The fact that he already works well with programmers shows he has a bright future in whatever field he pursues, whether it be games, movies or both!

If you see anything you like, add it to your favorites and check out the NEW favorites management system that liljim just launched! The new page lets you slide favorites up and down. The old page was bulky and a list of 100+ favorites was over a meg of html and slowed down browsers. Now it works a lot better!

We have also changed the favorites system so that new favorites default to the #1 slot. If you check out my page, for example, you'll see I have dragged the FAVORITES box to the top of my page. Now when I add new favorites, everyone can see them appear in that box. We're hoping this will liven up user pages and help new submissions get on the radar faster.

I'll be posting every day from now until Christmas Eve, with daily Wacom winners and other assorted news. The Wacom winners are not being announced in any specific order, and will represent a variety of artists who have contributed to NG in the past.
