Winter Audio Meet

So I heard that people wanted to arrange a winter audio portal meetup thingie in Toronto. Any news on that? I won't be able to go :(

Because I'm poor and going back to Winnipeg on Dec. 5th and I won't be able to afford a ticket to Toronto and back.

I live close to Winnipeg, just outside a town called Beausejour. I live in the sticks though (forest).

There are three main meets every year - Mod Meat, Montreal Meet, and UK Meet. Mod meat is arranged by the mods and Fulps, open to mods only, Montreal Meet is put together by poxpower (+18 only), and the UK Meet is being handled by Luis this year (open to all ages).

The biggest one so far is the '08 London meetup, but the awesomest was the '08 Montreal meet, and it will probably be bigger than London next year.

There hasn't been an "official" Audio meetup as of yet, but it would be cool to have. Like, really cool. We could rent a studio for a day or two and just hang out and collab and stuff. :D

Hell, if you'd ever organize something even vaguely close to me, I'd try my best to get there. Anyone considered Prague? That's about the cheapest booze in all of Europe (like: 2 beers for a dollar in a bar), plus the city kicks ass. I've been there once, and I'm dying to see it again.

If you don't mind, I'd just like a poll as to where everyone's from, so that if someone DOES arrange an "official" meetup, they'd know where to hold it. Just put down your country and general area if you wish.

I live in Montreal, Canada. That's pretty much the east coast.
