Wacom 5: Falconer02 2008-11-25 12:40:27

Attention artists! A Pixelmas Shorts Collab is being organized by mexifry895. To participate in the collab, make a Christmas-themed Flash with Pixel Tools and follow the directions in the post. There are only ten parts left, so READ THIS UPDATE before getting started.

Today's Wacom tablet winner is Jim Schwertfeger, aka Falconer02! Jim first arrived on NG in 2003, and like many artists, it all started with a Mario movie:

  • Unpublished Submission

Falconer02 immediately shifted gears to more original work. His next movie went under the radar, only to be brought to the spotlight years later during our 2006 Treasure Hunt.

The seven other submissions by Falconer02 all made front page. He is probably best known as the creator of Circuit Skirmish.

While all of his submissions are worth checking out, here are the two most recent and noteable:

Jim has tried tablets in the past and really liked them; he even borrowed one for a month. Now he wants a tablet he can call his own, to keep the creativity flowing well into the future. I'm excited to see what the future holds!

I'll be posting every day from now until Christmas Eve, with daily Wacom winners and other assorted news. The Wacom winners are not being announced in any specific order, and will represent a variety of artists who have contributed to NG in the past.

circuit skirmish has always been a favourite of mine, absolutely amazing, the day i saw it i got put in the mood to go animation-crazy :p

still extremely jealous though! i would literally kill upto 15 people with my bear hands right now to by the 6th winner! ive found loads of other non-flash related uses for a graphics tablet :p

......and no sticking the pen up my ass is NOT one of them. would come in INCREDIBLY helpful for my graphics coursework though!

tom are they being sent out daily or are you going to send them all out for christmas or what? O.o
