I've been working on these daily for 2 weeks. I've made 11 of these badboys and the method is becoming more and more intricate as I go along. Too bad my fingers are aching like a bitch. What is the feedback on this video-game artwork? Digging the style so far? Totally made in photoshop with a tablet. Total noob at this but developed my own way.

Looks good. You could flatten the shadowing in some places and add some faint textures though.

Yeah, not bad at all, has the tropical jungle feel I'm sure you're going for - are the gray trees in the background shadows though? Consider maybe positioning the background trees and foliage a little higher than the foreground trees, it should create a better sense of depth.. unless you want it to appear that there's a hill sloping downward on the other side of the trail.

Will the background pan? If so, really adds to the sense of depth when the foreground and background pan at different speeds, naturally.

Objects (vines in this case?) can add to the effect when thrown in the very foreground as well.

Me neither.

Very nice, but like someone else said, the trees at the back should be higher up for a sense of depth.
The textures were nice, and the shadows were good.
