I can't really think of any album artwork that can beat Pink Floyd's, really, except Tool's and Klaxon's.

Pink Floyd tended to have their record covers made by a small group of artists who were known as Hipgnosis. Part of the Hipgnosis team was Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson, of Throbbing Gristle.
