This one is from Kaizer Orchestra. I think it's pretty clever if you take the lyrics into consideration. Besides, it's genuinely interesting to look at.
I think Pink Floyd's album artwork will always be interesting to look at - I even have a poster with the best pieces on it. (covers and those within the booklets)
I can't really think of any album artwork that can beat Pink Floyd's, really, except Tool's and Klaxon's.

I love The Final Cut's as the back of the album shows a soldier that has been stabbed in the back which is pretty much just a statement about how soldiers nowadays are pretty much betrayed by their country's politicians because they die for a cause and they'll just be completely forgotten.
or something like that
I don't know why, but I find that statement to be humorous, too.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer- Brain Salad Surgery. Cover art by H.R. Giger.
This one I choose, because looking back at it.. well, fuck. It's just too hilarious.
About 30 million copies of this floating around the world

While not the best or my favorite, Mayhem's "Dawn of the Black Hearts" is pretty awesome. That's their old lead singer, whose stage named was ironically "Dead."

Like Animals, with that pig flying by the factory.
Or that iconic prism on Dark Side of The Moon.

And personally, I think you can't beat Generic Flipper.

No one ever seems to mention A momentary lapse of reason when talking about Pink Floyd album covers.
There´s no trick photography, all of those beds were actually carried on the beach.
Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.
The invisible Band by Travis. Didn't realise they were there first time I looked at it.
