I asked somebody the other day if they got any evidance and he spat in my face "hes a N****r whos gunna make the USA socailist and hes gunna give away all our money to the poor and hes pulling troops out of iraq and hes probably some terrorist whos gunna ruin the USA!" obviously hes a idiot but im seeing that alot. I dont think ive ever seen the USA divided like this before. People seem to hate people for votting for mccain and people seem to hate people for voting for obama. its insanity.

I see some broke ass dumbshit redneck spouting that nonsense, and I almost want to slap him "MOST NEGROES HAVE MORE MONEY THAN YOU YOU BROKE BASTARD!!! HE'S GONNA TAKE MONEY FROM RICH RAPPERS PUT IT IN YOUR POCKET, DUMMIE!!"

I have to wonder if this isn't something that has been suggested as an opinion (keep in mind, just an opinion, in no way factual or quantifiable) that what those who argue against tax cuts like Obama does have taken the thinking of "uh oh, what if I move into that upper class tax bracket they want to tax the hell out of? Then I'd be taxed more then I've ever been taxed in my life!!! I BETTER NOT VOTE FOR THE GUY THAT'S GONNA TAX THE RICH IN CASE I BECOME RICH!!!" and then they vote accordingly. But let's be real, most of us will never be rich. The closest we can get is upper middle class. You've got to have one or a few of the following to get into that upper crust situation:
1. Some kind of advantage, like a rich parent
2. Some sort of genius, your a great inventor and make a revolutionary new product. Or you realize there's a flaw in an existing product so you make a better version and make millions. Or you become an artist or writer of great fame and commercial success.
3. You have found some way to get famous. American Idol, some reality TV Show, just anything that can catapult you into fame and fortune without neccessarily having great discernible talent.
Sadly, this will not be true of most of us. Most of us will go get a job, hopefully do well enough at it to not get fired. Get some raises, maybe even get promoted, and live comfortably, if not lavishly. That's the truth for most of us. Once we accept it, we can then realize that the people who have more, should be asked to give more. Instead of taking it out of those of us who pay our fair share, and are just trying to carve out a comfortable niche.

In principle i would agree with you, except that the principle of government spending assumes that Governments wealth distribution bureaus are uncorrupted, altruistic, and responsible, that their spending will be directed towards the greater good rather than political motives, like pork barrel or 'buying' votes in electoral sectors. It also assumes that a benevolent government is INTELLIGENT enough to direct the money towards the greater good.

Amen to that. not to mention the congestion of bureaucracy, then you got the lawsuits and so forth and so on. We've already got millions of leeches sucking the blood out of the welfare system. Now they want to start up MORE social programs to help people. the same leeches are gonna latch on to these other programs as well, costing trillions. Now, when I say leeches I don't mean EVERYONE on one of these programs. I mean the bottom feeding fuckers that suck the tit for all they can and once its milked dry they clamp down with their teeth and start drinking the blood.
Perhaps Obama should consider moving towards making able bodied people work. Also it wouldn't hurt to have people who are "disabled" go to a second doctor they are not affiliated with for a second opinion. I've seen a LOT of people who are supposedly "disabled" at a very young age do things that *I* can't even do.

How do you know this when Obama has yet to do ANYTHING? The only thing I've seen Obama do is read from a teleprompter and name people from the Clinton administration to his own administration.
The only "Change" I've seen from Obama is the change of presidency from Republican to Democrat. Other than that all I've seen is business as usual.

I think your standards might have been dimmed, or you may not have listened to him or read anything about him.
But his post-election choices make me wonder if he is just going to be another Bill Clinton, which I personally hope he isn't.

My standards haven't been dimmed. and I don't listen to a man's promises, for promises are meaningless until fulfilled. His past is also meaningless to me since he's never been in a position of ultimate authority. q
Of course, I listened to his speeches. when He was in front of a teleprompter, he spoke like a narrator in a movie. Without it, you heard "I uhh uhh believe in uhh uhh change. uhh Bush ruined our uhh economy uhh we need to uhh uhh uhh get uhh back on the uhh right track and uhh spead the wealth around because uhh the poor uhhh uhh need our uhh help" He also made many MANY MANY Gaffs when he wasn't aided by his teleprompter, for instance the whole "I've been in 57 states 2 more to go" yeah. This man to me isn't genuine.
He also named Hillary Clinton as secretary of state. Not only does he hire on a bunch of Clinton's old lackeys, he hires on Hillary herself into what is probably the 2nd most powerful position in the government. Hillary Clinton, the person who rode his ass all the way through the primaries, saying his ideas are naive and basically calling him an idiot, is now secretary of state. So now Obama has a Clinton and a pile of Clinton lackeys in his cabinet.
so my question is, where is all this change he promised? Where is the bipartisanship he promised? All of the bills I've been hearing about them wanting to pass into law have been very left leaning.
Also, why hasn't Obama called for a press conference to say that he isn't gonna impose his taxes while the economy is doing bad? Does he intend to jack up the taxes on the rich while the economy is crap? also why doesn't he step out and tell the EPA to shove the methane tax up their own asses with the economy doing poorly? New taxes are always passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices. who are the consumers? Simple, its US! the "poor and middle class" that won't be taxed to death under the Obama administration.
We'll just be indirectly taxed to death. THAT is why people who are "poor" booing Obama's ideas. you tax the wealthy, they pass the taxes onto the poor and the poor can either pay extra or do without.
Change? I don't see it. Matter of fact my change jar is already empty, I can only imagine what's gonna happen to us in the next several years.
I'm not crazy, everyone else is.

Name one presidental cantidate to run without the use of a teleprompter. And im sorry, but to me all of this seems like hearsay without a source.
He also named Hillary Clinton as secretary of state. Not only does he hire on a bunch of Clinton's old lackeys, he hires on Hillary herself into what is probably the 2nd most powerful position in the government. Ok, political ideology 101. When you are a president as unexperienced as Obama, you surround yourself with people highly educated in the fields you lack. This president just happens to have many of the same policies, so it just makes sense to hire back Clinton's staff. And did you see Obama's attack ads on her. thats just politics. Really the surprise is that he extended the offer. And im not sure if she even accepted it offically yet. Whether you think the Clinton staff is ussuccessful is an arguement in and of itself.
so my question is, where is all this change he promised? Where is the bipartisanship he promised? All of the bills I've been hearing about them wanting to pass into law have been very left leaning.
Um. He isn't president yet. By default some bills are left leaning, just as some bills are right leaning in a republican congress. That is just how it works. But the bipartisanship he promises can not be called into question yet. He still has like 60 days until inauguration.
Please make a reasonable and coherent statement out of that. The super rich need taxed. The EPA can do whatever the fuck they want to do as long as its in conservation of the environment. There is a difference in taxes and marginal costs. Taxes are legislation passed by government which the proceeds go to...government. Higher prices on goods are a result of the cost of production and distribution of the company's good(marginal cost) is increased, and that inconveince is therefore passed onto the consumer.
Change? I don't see it. Matter of fact my change jar is already empty, I can only imagine what's gonna happen to us in the next several years.
What worse can happen? Really? The only thing that we can hope for is a moderate president, which if Obama had any ambition of running for a second term he will be, who has enough dreams to pass a few peices of Rooseveltian legislation to save the american people before the democrats start goin for eachother's necks.

I don't believe he meant the working poor. I believe he was making a very stereotypical view of the poor who use welfare abuse as a means of support. Yes, that shit happens, in some areas it happens to an insane degree. But to me that only points out the need for the system to be reformed, not to be abolished as some would say.
But if our ignorant friend was saying "poor = welfare abuser" then yes, he very much is just an elitest prick who can take a nice relaxing swim in lake gofuckyourself. I know some working poor families and they work very hard to provide for their children and keep what they have (in fact one friend of mine sent me an email not too long ago about she made it a point that her children donate a toy to charity at Christmas so they would learn the value of helping someone even worse off, and so they would be more thankful for what they themselves have). There's bad poor people, and there's good poor people. That's true of any grouping of people anywhere, some are better then others. Failure to see that means you need to just not speak in a public setting about such things.

You do realize that she had about the exact same amount of experience as Obama, right?
And that there have been more governors who became president... yes?
And that she ran for VP while Obama ran for Presidency... eh?
And that the governor is of the executive branch just like the presidency while a senator is of the legislative... correct?

Obama thought there were 59 states.
In a 40 minute speech, 20% of it was Obama saying "uh" (a full SEVEN minutes)
Biden didn't know that the Constitution refers to the Vice President as "The President of Congress".
I can play this nit-picking too. Shall I bring up Bill Clinton quotes?

The double standard is astonishing!

That means a whole lot considering Obama also has ZERO foreign relations experience, and yet he was NEVER asked that question during an interview.
But even still, do you want me to refer you to the above?
You know, I didn't think you could find anyone more "retarded" than Bush when it came to public speaking, but congrats, you found him in Barack Obama...
