Great work man, the ballpoint pen is such a lost tool of the trade.
I really like that portrait, its very unusual and expressive. I'll try and provide some criticism because you'll probably get more out of it than just patting you on the back all day. Its tough though because you did such a good job its like trying to split hairs. By the way any edits i suggest are strictly for your own knowledge, I am very against revising work after I've signed it and I think thats how it should always be anyway. Otherwise a piece is worked to death and it doesnt feel natural anymore.
Anyways I think the molars on the right side of his mouth seem a bit off, unless hes chewing a piece of gum, they seem a bit too prominent and large in relation to the other teeth. It could just be that the lighting is just too strong in that area.. maybe muddling it down with more line work like the left side of his mouth may be all thats needed.
Secondly the lighting cast by the chin on the lower neck area seems too harsh, if the lighting was indeed that strong then the shadowing under the nose is too weak. That shadow would need to pull down to over his upper lip to match the intensity you set up.
I like the hair alot, people have a really hard time really showing that the hair is part of the body and attached to the scalp. You really did a great job with it, it feels natural and i want to run my fingers through it.... err in a not gay way of course!
