there is a magazine at my school that is distributed called The Dome. it is an art showcase booklet, people submit their poems, stories, artwork, etc to it. This year, The Dome went online. i was asked in the fall to do the layout for it, and i came up with this

it was too indepth of a layout, so we didn't use it. i have forgotten about it since the fall, until about 2 hours ago. i was asked to make a really simple banner for the site, and i came up with this.

Cool, yeah I've never done the transferring of a photograph into a personal work of art, but I've seen various techniques (grids, tracing, etc.), eyeballing it is clearly the most difficult. Holy crap, thats the most awesome anime drawing iv ever seen in this thread. The sprites were good also, but the walking animation looked awkward, cause it isnt timed correctly. Needs more frames at certain points

Oh man, that is some beautiful stuff you have there. l'd love to see more, and if you get around to it, don't hesitate to post them up. It's great seeing an extremely accomlished artist putting his stuff on NG. It makes this thread much more interesting...between the penises and bloody people, and unfornatly more often than not, a combination of the two.

Heh, I might make it into a new movie/game/flash site. Just because I'm bored and barely use any of the bandwidth I pay for. I thought it would actually look fine in IE. I was wrong. o_O

I haven't finished, but a few comments:

1: Next version you should have it so you can press enter for ok... I got tired of pressing okay when reading books and stuff.
2: If you have swift 3d in there... you BETTER have maya... lol
3: I wish going up the NG ladder were that easy :-P
4: When are you going to work on version 2, and do you think you might have other people work on it with you, or will it continue to be a solo project?
