I <3 comp arts. It's so awesome, i have been buying it at like the book store like every other issue for months, i just subscribed a few months ago and i got my first one in the mail a few days ago. i get a crap load of inspiration from everything i see in there. i also get some other magazines but they're way weirder, cmyk and esopus. it is expensive, i got like 13 for a hundred bucks i think or something like that... :D

The Brazil one right? I love that issue. It also came with a sweet swf to exe converter that works REALLY well. AND, if you're a subscriber, it came with Graduate Showcase 2006, which has some sweet ass art work and inspiration in it. The magazine is just LOADED with stuff. Definately worth the money if you have some to spare. I had to drop my subscription to MAD Magazine and Rolling Stones, but meh, its worth it!

Yea the brazil one, i didnt subscribe and still got the graduation thing, Imagine some of those could be one of us if people like you carried on with graphic design etc. Yea i just get my mum to pay :P my friends think the stuff is all crap, they dont understand the effort to make some of the stuff. I dont know why they dont like it either the art in there is so creative, i especially like the front cover and 1st page ( shown as page three).

Anone want to create album art for my new band, using the name Thriving Plague as the band name and w/e you want for the album name. I don't mind what it looks like, we had an idea of a green zombie/monster being charged by lightning.

Also I like the style of cheshirecat's picture he posted, so something like that will be cool too. Also if it help we play Death/Black/Doom Metal

Forgot to add, it will not be used, you will be given 100% credit for it. It's only for us to have an idea of what we could potentially have for album/single covers.

Thanks!

Yeh, I didn't like that very much, either. Actually, I would probably buy the t-shirt with the yeti on it :D
I really liked the stuff on the page before that, though, by Dhanank Pambayun. It's so imaginitive and creative! For those of you who don't get the magazine, here's his website:
