I might be the only one, but I think Rubberninja's Nocturnus should be in Flash Portal History. I though it was a great work of animation.

Noiserover is one of my favorites! I'm glad you posted about him! He should submit more!! I love how he gives no background to any story and just puts you right in the action of it all then leaves you wondering what the hell!

Tom Brien (I-smel)
Joe Worthington (joe-kangaroo) (one of the most underrated flash artists I've heard about *wink wink*)
jmtb02 (though definitely not overlooked)

This "Big Bag" is ok...but I miss the original Big Bag flash submission.
I know it usually only lasted about 30 seconds until some admin spotted it, but in those 30 seconds it stole my heart.

Very impressive treasure hunt this year, guys. I really hope the tradition lives. Maybe create a section where overlooked submissions can be showcased permanently. Sorta like a front page for overlooked flash. Then users can suggest flash for the overlooked collection. Every month a "Gem" is announced and the user suggested it plus the artist get something, can be a T-shirt if you don't feel like giving more. I always felt that there's so much underrated content here on newgrounds and I'm very happy about this treasure hunt idea.

Man, lots of new flashes to check out, this should be fun. I like the idea of having a treasure hunt more often though, it would be easier to remember flashes that you like from a couple months ago that you didn't think got the credit it deserved.

Heh, I've never thought of myself to be a 'well-known artist', but thanks for including my movie!
Also watched quite a bit of the other movies through-out the treasure hunt. It is sort of sad seeing so many great movies fall through the cracks while only the mega popular and sometimes overrated movies are hogging all the spotlight.
