So i gotgears of war 2(awesome game might i add) and i got cod5 also to play with buddies so i played gears of war 2 and cod5 yesterday for a combined 9 hours(i was home sick and couldnt go anywhere) so i boot up my xbox this morning and it says unplayable on EVERY game i learned the thingy wont spin and its 100 bucks to fix for microsoft should i pay or fix it myself with uperglue but than the warranty is void

If it's 100 dollars to fix, you may want to consider buying a new xbox arcade, you get an extra controller, a memory card, a few arcade games, and a new years warranty for only $60 or however much it is.

If I'm right, he could also just take the current hard-drive and adapter from his current one too. If he recovers his account from XboxLive then he wouldn't really have any of the disadvantages of the arcade anyway.

Whatever you do, don't try to fix it yourself. Unless you're some expert in electronics or actually work for MS it's bound to go wrong. I'd say either just pay your dues or go with BBM's idea.

I haven't finished the Story yet. They redid the shooting and the combat feels alot less sluggish but it seems like they really didn't add many new features just a new story line, more people on screen, better combat and some other little things.
