what do you think of online games?
do you like the fact that most games give you an option to play online but hate that more games are being released as all online?

I love the online experience. Besides Halo, Xbox Live is what made me want an original xbox years ago. It was the only console (besides PC) that really had a good online system that worked and was fully promoted. This later continued on with the 360 which is an amazing experience and makes console gaming so much more fun for me. Of course now Nintendo and Sony have their own versions of online but I'll stick with the console that really made online for consoles a good thing to have. Microsoft may not have been the first, but they perfected it.

I usually don't get games if they aren't multi-player. I like playing with my friends online it makes the game more fun for me. I do enjoy a good single player game from time to time like Bioshock or Deadspace but for the most part games like Halo 3, Fable 2, Gears 2, etc. are what I am interested in.

I used to hate the multiplayer part of the game. All I wanted was a really good singleplayer. Now, I play a lot of online. However, if the game doesn't have a solid singleplayer mode, then I'm not getting it. Unless the game is half-price. I also want more games to have local multiplayer. I hate not being able to play GTAIV or MGS4 with friends that are actually in the house. Sure, MGS4 probably wouldn't work locally, but I don't see why GTAIV, or Lost Planet wouldn't. That's why I like wii. Most games have local multiplayer, so as to bolster frendships with people you actaully know, instead of with creepy strangers.

i hate that when you play halo you get 7 year olds cursing you out acting all tough but i ike them when you play agaist peaple who luagh at jokes but arent 7 they usally 16 is when i like them and peaple dont play it 24/7 get a job peaples

I don't mind the all online games, such as warhawk or any MMO. Least they focus on the online and make it the best possible. Those that make the online and totally fuck up the single player are assholes.

I don't think new games can survive without online play these days. they're either all online or have a single player thing, but playing with yourself gets boring sometimes (don't say it). Sandbox games and RPGs, if they're huge, artistic or employ some new way of gaming, could still have potential and not include online play.
