if you could visit anywhere that is fictional or no-longer exists, where would it be

forget the pyramids and the grand canyon. if i could visit anywhere in the world, it'd have to be the hanging gardens of babylon.
unfortunately it no longer exists. it just looks so pretty in artist interpretations of how it would've looked. i find babylon in general very interesting, it was such an important place for so long, now it's gone

Join the army.

You're assuming that the army can travel back in time, I presume?

It's ok, you didn't know that they stopped existing around the 2nd Century B.C.E.

It's a joke, war in Iraq, gardens in Iraq. I know they don't exist anymore.

The Roof of the World, that's where I met with my wife.

The view is simply... majestic. Damn terrorists could have knocked down a building a bit shorter, now I have to go to Taiwan to get that view again.

Empire State Building is too low the observatory is on Floor 86.

Forget the world. I want to see the stars. The ones in the sky that is.

Most likely impossible in our lifetimes but seeing other solar systems, planets and natural wonders of space. Even looking at the earth from space, but that's far more possible than going millions of miles away from home.

That or see that Colossus of Rhodes which is an ancient wonder of the world along with the Gardens of Babylon.

yeah that'd be cool aswell, especially just to see what it looked like. i don't think it really straddled the harbor entrance, or that ship went through his legs. probably still impressive though

I oten fantasise about visting Spira from Final Fantasy X/X-2, or Rome during the Julio-Cladian rule, especially the reigns of Caligula and Claudius.
